The depths of the Greyhold have rarely been explored by outsiders that lived to tell the tale, but most speak of a maze of industrial machines encroaching on a regal castle-style interior. Seas of grey sludge are pumped in and out through mazes of pipes to unknown locations, while massive cogs and chains clunk heavily all around. It’s said that the fortress is built from the recycled remains of other worlds, buildings and ships the Greys have conquered over the years! How devious!
With this being a very dated design, it’s clearly very different now – especially that background and how lazy it is. But I do love the “melted down materials” and “things cobbled together” look, definitely something I want to explore more.
